Anjana Sathyabodha holds an M.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology from the All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, Mysore, a B.Sc. in Speech & Hearing from JSS Institute of Speech & Hearing, Mysore, and a Diploma in Special Educational Needs from the Blackford Centre, UK. She is a senior speech-language therapist and AAC specialist with over 18 years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, and professionals. Her work focuses on building accessible, meaningful communication using evidence-based approaches and assistive technology, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her practice is informed by training in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), Social Role Valorization (SRV), person-centred planning, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches, along with Special Yoga and Mindfulness. She leads the planning and implementation of the communication curriculum and guides her team of passionate therapists. Anjana is widely recognised in the field of AAC and is a speaker at national and international conferences. She has co-created AAC training programmes with the Avaz AAC App, training over 1,000 professionals, and is consulted for her expertise in AAC implementation.
